If you go over the line on the power meter it will give you a power shot and give you more distance. Test it on the driving range.

There is an issue that I hadn't spotted before making this video. Aiming down a sight and then moving makes you drop your aim. The emulator doesn't want to accept the two controls at the same time, meaning you're stuck playing close range / hip fire. I do hope this is something they fix in updates of the emulator.

Wow this looks like it handles it really well, way better than I would have thought. I have started again on Fallout 4 on the PS5 since the update came out, enjoying it, just been a bit limited on game time (been busy doing dev stuff :)).

Bingeing out on some Steve Benway vids tonight. I had V Rally 3 on the GBA back in the day and I remember short gear shifts and tight steering would beat every race in the game. I loved 3D GBAdvance games because we sort of saw where the SNES could have gone without the N64's release.

These hardware reviews were always peerless to my mind and this is another example.

I finally bought a PSVR2 this week primarily for GT7 and No Man's Sky. Both are excellent in VR. I wish I'd bought one sooner. Yeah, the screen grain is annoying. I only notice it in GT7, though. I lowered the screen brightness to the lowest setting (much easier on my eyes) and the grain isn't as noticeable, thankfully. I'll likely get used it eventually.

Haven't heard of Winlator. Looks impressive. I'm quite looking forward to playing the Fallout London mod on PC soon. Apparently the game will be available for download on GOG after its release, which is good. Good stuff. :)

Heh, it plays the game better than my laptop.

Be curious to see how it handles the diamond city, I remember my pc when it came out struggled frame wise there.

My gt6 took 4 hrs to download, the 2022 Christmas update was a big surprise

Retro console repair is often simpler than you think and is more about correct diagnosis and available parts than skill. The exception in my experiance is optical drives which are usually more trouble than their worth and much better simply replaced (where possible) than attempting anything beyond a basic repair.

Crap glasses. I use reading glasses, 1.75's for computer and 2.0's for reading.... these adjustable glasses can't reach either of those magnifications before they come to the end of the distance they can travel. Total waste of time and money.

The Atari 2600's Grand Prix in 1982 was also very good with colorful graphics was also an enjoyable car racing game. Graphically, they were based on the Formula One racers and they looked very close to them! I would rate Grand Prix higher than Pole Position...

Welcome back, nice to see a video from you again. I also took a couple of goes to get into Fallout 4, but do generally like playing it (casually) now. Recently I have started playing Fallout 3 on my PS3 again, with the intention of playing New Vegas afterwards (which I have never played).

Strange, I'm playing this on the PS2 Atari Anthology collection and it looks different. My version has a colour gradient on the ground and sky, plus the sight turns yellow not white. This version appears slightly easier too.

I am starting from scratch just picked up this game, started the game with internet disabled on the ps3. Was able to play vanilla unpatched gt6. I then reconnected the ps3 to internet, launched the game, let it download and install the 21 updates, and it actually took the install. Don’t know if I got lucky or if that’s a new easier method to get patched gt6, hope it helps
